In my search for “The Lost Collection” I stumbled upon extremely talented people who make art out of second hand pieces. I decided to give them a platform online and in the shop as well. My search will go on and I hope to keep discovering out of the box thinkers and creators that put an effort into making the world a more beautiful place.
Turncoat Clothing
Clara Neuenschwander aka TurnCoat Clothing has been working with leather for over a decade, starting the journey with a thrifted leather jacket which she painted with an intricate design.
Moving with that flow she searched variable ways of working with thrifted leather, creating a world of portraits, patterns and punk on the backs of one-of-a-kind jackets.
Working with her own designs or custom ideas, Clara creates fitting moods for the extravagant, wild and daring folks.
Anyone and everyone is welcome in her studio, her interests lie with the stories YOU tell so we can create a second skin to wear on your battlefield, together.
Last year she ventured out in the leather department, creating TurnCoat Clothing which consists of leather harnesses created from deadstock/pre-loved hides. Thrifted purses and diverse leather items will also make their way on the scene. Clara will blend both practices in the future, but that’s a secret for another time
Legrand Collection
LEGRAND COLLECTION Is busy with painting, loving, drawing, building, laughing, sculpting, designing, printing, eating, drinking and making tattoos. Besides this he transforms his crazy images to wearable pieces of art by applying them onto second-hand garments.
Big, bright and bold designs inspired by science fiction, neolitic art, cartoons and mystic symbolism decorate the otherwise discarded piece of clothing
Always with lots of love
Lena's DIY
Lena’s diys motto is ‘diy or die’ and this really reflects in the style of clothing made. Every piece is second hand and is upcycled using mostly second hand materials. The styles that inspire my crafts include punk, goth and riot culture. Some pieces don’t necessarily fall under these categories because I feel like every piece tells their own story and gives me inspiration that might differ a bit. I started diy’ing since I was 14 years old and I think young me would be super proud of how far I got! So if you want to support me and my mission of making dull pieces of second hand clothing more fun, lost and found is the place to be!!
YSLA
